Jennifer is a great interior designer!  She really listens, works quickly,
and has undeniable talent.  When we bought our new apartment, I
needed some help with choosing the right paint colors and finishes
since I was overwhelmed by the options and wanted to make sure our new
place had character and warmth.  Jennifer took a look at my new place
and helped me plan where all my existing furniture would fit and then we discussed goals for what new pieces would be needed. Then she got paint samples which she tested in different parts of the apartment
with different lighting.  In addition to those choices, she gave me a good
sense of what to look for in case I went to the paint store myself for
additional colors.  She also recommended a painter to do the actual
painting.  Everything turned out wonderfully and she pulled together some
unique colors & looks that hadn’t even occurred to me.
After the painting job was completed, I hired her for advice and some
general help in choosing the right kind of carpet, furniture, window
treatments, etc.  Again, she presented great picks for my budget.  I also
liked that she – being a mom herself – knew a lot about products that
are safe and suitable for a family with children, while not
compromising on the look.  Jennifer was great with my crazy schedule (a toddler, job, moving, etc).  She is very diligent, follows up and you
will never wonder when something will be delivered or completed.
Her pricing is very reasonable.   I have recommended her to several friends and everyone has been thrilled.

Jennifer was incredibly helpful and easy to work with, and made the process a lot easier for us. I was really on the fence about whether to use a designer at all, but I’m so glad I did. Her advice was invaluable and saved us a ton of time (for example, picking out paints took only 1.5 hours instead of many many more if I’d done it on my own). She also had a few invaluable ideas (like closing up a door in one room) that I think are going to make a huge difference both in the appearance and overall functionality of the apartment. She was always on time, always available by email, and has great taste. She also really seemed to get what we were going for, and worked both within our budget (which was very limited) and with our personal style. I didn’t know her before working with her on this project, but I would definitely use her again, and would recommend her without reservation if anyone is looking for design help.

After 12 years, we finally got it together to repaint our apartment. I didn’t trust myself to pick out colors and wanted a little change. Jennifer was very helpful. She quickly understood what I was looking for and made the process go very easily. We had a limited budget for her services, and she was fine with knowing up front that this would be a relatively small job for her and that we could afford only a limited number of hours of her time. She gave us some good ideas re: some furniture re-arrangements and new thinking on re-hanging art. She was helpful in suggesting lots of resources (stores, websites, etc) that were budget friendly and on were on the right track. Jennifer was pleasant to work with, always responsive to emails and on time to appointments.

My family recently purchased a house in Windsor Terrace. We were feeling really overwhelmed by all the decisions and decided to seek some professional help. We found Jennifer Morris from Spatial Design through PSP and have been so happy with her ideas, advice, and suggestions that we wanted to let others know. Jennifer provided resources we would have never found on our own and was also a joy to work with. She’s punctual, patient and made sense of our somewhat jumbled vision. She was also incredibly responsive and was able to work within our modest budget.

A good friend had used Jen to decorate her apartment and I fell in love with Jen’s work. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Jen’s rates were reasonable and had her begin helping me with our new apartment. One of Jen’s fortes is space planning. She helped place our furniture in the optimal spots, maximizing space in our NYC apartment. She was also instrumental in helping us pick out certain pieces of furniture to fit what were sometimes awkward or tight spaces. Jen was also very knowledgeable about all things decorating and provided creative ideas (that I would never have thought up on my own in a million years!) for what we could do in terms of artwork placement, window treatments, color schemes, and functional ways to use our walls. Jen was always punctual, got back to me right away and was very flexible with her schedule sometimes coming over with just a few hours notice. I’d definitely recommend Jen and will use her again.
